This series represents the fragility and disintegration of nature against the relative permanence of glass and gold. The time element is further emphasised with the use of Victorian to present day materials. The mix of materials includes sterling silver, 22ct gold leaf, gilded plant material and reclaimed Victorian glass and mount.

This is a one-of-a-kind two-side pendant. One side is predominantly gold (22ct champagne gold leaf) showing a gilded sterling silver chain rim. The other side is dark silver on the perimeter. As this is a partially transparent piece using two glass elements, both sides of the same plant are revealed. The sterling silver chain trimming is lightly gilded with gold leaf, showing a mix of silver and gold to blend the two sides. It is nicely presented in a black and grey shoulder box, made from 99% recycled boxboard with a silver foil logo. The pendant comes with your choice of 20, 22, or 24 inch chain.
